What is MAGA?
An exploration into how the cult is composed.
I read some articles by some friends. And I immediately found inspiration. You, too, should read articles. You, too, should seek inspiration.
Inspiration is how we fuel our initiative. Inspiration is how we GET SHIT DONE.
I pondered the idea about what MAGA is. MAGA is a lot of things. And as I ponder, I choose to write. Because what good are my ponderings if I do not share them with friends, fellow activists, and the world? They would just be ideas suck in my head. And when the spike of American Fascism enters my skull and separates by brain stem from my cerebral cortex, those ponderings would be totally lost. Erased from existence.
At least until CommVault pioneers Human Brain Backup (HBB, all rights reserved. Kidding! Please hire me!). But I think we are still a few decades away from that. So, here it goes:
What is MAGA?
MAGA is vileness incarnate.
MAGA is “no it’s not!”
MAGA is ignorantly charging someone for a source that shows a goon uttering “Fucking bitch!” after said goon committed murder. And then justifying said murder.
MAGA is the painfully obvious hypocrite; the double standard.
MAGA is TDS.
MAGA has TDS.
MAGA doesn’t really even know what TDS is. Except that you shout it at “libs” when you are ready to “own” and disengage.
MAGA is the impossible position of shouting “Just comply!” while also sporting a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag.
MAGA is not understanding the meaning, and the historical significance of “Don’t Tread On Me.”
MAGA is sporting that same flag, all the while licking the boots of ICE, the federal government, and any other MAGA-aligned law enforcement or paramilitary type.
MAGA is being 17, and crossing state lines with your dad’s rifle to go and commit murder to “own some libs.”
MAGA is “owning some libs.” Even if the “libs” are moderates. Even if the “libs” are RINOs. Even if the “libs” are more conservative and risk averse than you are.
MAGA is believing that there are only two sources: Fox News and MsNOW (or previously MSNBC).
MAGA is accusing any non-MAGA of loving Rachel Maddow (personally, I don’t care for Rachel).
MAGA is about making assumptions about anyone else that isn’t willing to suck Donald Trump’s dick.
MAGA is cruelty.
MAGA is evil.
MAGA is self-centeredness so hard that they literally cannot even identify with others that might be hurting or in pain.
MAGA is fake news.
MAGA is easy… where you don’t actually have to be informed about the specifics of an issue. You just say and do what other MAGAs say and do.
MAGA is Groypers.
MAGA is racism.
MAGA is do as I say, not as I do.
MAGA is women should know their place.
MAGA is hating women.
MAGA weirdly is “Daddy.” Or other “daddy” issues.
MAGA is rape.
MAGA is child rape.
MAGA is “shh don’t tell anyone or I will kill you.”
MAGA is silencing the witness. Either proverbially, or literally.
MAGA is hate.
MAGA is hating “the unnatural,” or “against God” sins. And then crashing the Grindr app with all of their dude-on-dude ass-pummeling in Utah following Charlie Kirk’s scheduled, planned removal.
MAGA is performative.
The only way to really MAGA is to out-MAGA another MAGA to demonstrate your commitment to the cause and to Trump’s pedophile spending account.
MAGA is ammosexual.
MAGA is buying a pistol, aiming said pistol at your balls, and snapping a picture to show all of your MAGA friends.
MAGA is shooting your own balls off, accidentally, while trying to capture said photo.
MAGA is being a gun nut, shooting your own eye out, and then leading the Oath Keepers.
MAGA is “CHRISTIAN.”
“CHRISTIAN” is MAGA. Even if Christians don’t realize that they have all been entirely co-opted.
MAGA is God loving.
MAGA is God-fearing. Whatever stupid shit that is. Who ever heard of needing to “FEAR” an omnipotent, omnipresent, benevolent being? If God is “good,” why the fuck is fear necessary?!
MAGA is knowing the scripture better than you. Even when they don’t.
MAGA is Jesus already saved me, so I really don’t care what happens next.
MAGA is finding humor in abject horrors.
Like in feeding brown people to alligators.
And laughing at the pain and suffering of others.
MAGA is FAFO. And then being none-too-pleased when they are the ones FO’ing.
MAGA is doubling-down. Every time. No matter what.
MAGA is never apologizing for anything. Never making a single concession. Ever. Because for MAGA, growth, learning, and evolving forward is a sign of weakness.
MAGA is not weak! (Haha!!)
MAGA is strong!! (Hahahahah!!)
MAGA is “why don’t you try to come and say that to my face?!”
MAGA is awkwardly walking away and kicking rocks after having it said to their face.
OR
MAGA is assault.
MAGA is she asked for it!
MAGA is 100% succumbing to your lizard brain.
MAGA is devolving. While at the same time, being proud of that devolution.
MAGA is “Are we great yet?”
MAGA will never be great. It will only ever be a disease; an affliction.
MAGA must be removed.
